J&J's Tree Service grew out of a life spent in the woods. Nearly everyone on the crew grew up around logging and tree work, with some of the team coming from a multi-generational logging background. This is not just a job for us. It is what we know and what we love, and that pride shows up in how we treat every tree and every property we set foot on.
That heritage is backed by owner Matt's years as a utilities lineman, working around energized power lines. That kind of background is not common in the tree care industry, and it matters most on the jobs where precision counts. Whether we climb a tree on rope and saddle or run the bucket truck, we plan the work carefully and do it safely.
We serve homeowners, landlords, commercial property managers, and municipalities across the Palouse, LC Valley, Spokane area, and the Idaho panhandle. We have handled extensive maintenance and beautification work for the Garfield Cemetery District, and completed projects for the City of LaCrosse and the LaCrosse School District, coordinating with their insurance to keep costs down and the work moving. Every job, big or small, gets the same attention and follow-through.

Our service area runs a long way north and south. We work as far south as Lewiston and Clarkston and as far north as Bonners Ferry, Idaho, covering the full panhandle in between. In Washington, we regularly work in Colfax, Pullman, Palouse, Garfield, Uniontown, Colton, Rosalia, Albion, and north through Spangle into the greater Spokane area, including Spokane Valley, Cheney, and Airway Heights.
